1. Melaka Botanical Garden
The Melaka Botanical Garden is 92.5 hectares in size and is located in Ayer Keroh, Melaka. As a natural tropical rainforest enhanced by picturesque landscaping, visitors will be able to jog, take a leisurely stroll or just explore the surroundings in a clean, green environment. There are more than 200 types of lowland tropical forest plants and several species of local birds, small mammals, reptiles and insects can be found in abundance. Entrance is free.
2. Zoo Melaka
The Melaka Zoo is famous throughout Malaysia for its successful breeding programs of endangered animals such as the rare Malayan tiger. Its 54 acres carved out of natural tropical jungle is home to more than 200 animal species with 1,200 animals. Established in 1963, it has the distinction of being the first zoo in the region to exhibit the rare and endangered Sumatran Rhinoceros.

3. Garden of A Thousand Flowers (Taman Seribu Bunga)
Taman Seribu Bunga is a specialist park with thousands of flowers spread over 5.3 hectares of beautifully landscaped gardens complete with walking tracks, fountains and romantic pergolas. It is next to the state government complex of Seri Negeri and entrance is free. Perfect for a quiet stroll with lots of benches to rest and enjoy the natural beauty.
4. Melaka Wonderland Theme Park and Resort
Melaka Wonderland Theme Park & Resort is a stone’s throw from Kampung Buku Malaysia Melaka and is the region’s latest water theme park and resort. Besides water slides, wave pools and rides, it features the Tornado Chaser which will satisfy thrill seekers looking for something exciting. It is surrounded by 360 hectares of recreational forest and located next to the Melaka Botanical Garden. A Theme Park Hotel will be built soon and added attractions in the future include boat rides, flying fox and a dry park.

5. Buggy Ride
The Buggy Ride is located at the entrance of the Melaka Botanical Garden and consists of 34 battery powered vehicles which range from single and double seater motorbikes to four, six and eight seater cars. Rent a vehicle for a minimum of 30 minutes and ride through a special buggy track that will enable you to explore the forest at your own pace.

6. Melaka Planetarium
The Melaka Planetarium & Science Centre is located in Hang Tuah Jaya, Ayer Keroh, Melaka. It boasts a theater which can seat 200 people and a large hall of 15 sq. meters. The Planetarium is equipped with an astronomy museum and a library which contain reference materials for astrologists. An open area which has been beautifully landscaped is also available for recreation and is suitable for exhibitions. It is very popular with school children and often hosts special exhibitions during the school holidays.
7. The Melaka International Bowling (MIBC)
The internationally acclaimed Melaka International Bowling Centre is located at Hang Tuah Jaya, Ayer Keroh, Melaka. With 52 lanes, it is the largest bowling alley in Malaysia. Spread over 10,586 sq. feet over 2 storeys, it provides the perfect venue for promoting bowling as both a sport and a recreational activity. Built in 2007, it was officiated on the 1st August 2009 by The Rt. Hon. Datuk Seri Hj. Mohd Ali bin Mohd Rustam, Chief Minister of Melaka.
8. Mini Malaysia and Mini ASEAN Park
Located opposite the Melaka Botanical Garden, this unique one of a kind park is a summary of the prominent cultural elements of all 13 states in Malaysia and Southeast Asian (ASEAN) countries. Each state in Malaysia and each ASEAN country showcases their history and culture in individual purpose built traditional houses. Cultural performances and traditional games are also available for visitors.
9. Malacca Butterfly & Reptile Sanctuary
Opened on 1st February 1991, the Malacca Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary is home to more than 30 species of butterflies and has an insect museum with more than 400 insect specimens. Rare tropical butterfly species include the raja Brooke and Birdwing. It also has a Bird Aviary which contains lovebirds, white peacocks, hornbills, owls, peafowls and parrots. The Reptile Aviary exhibits the largest collection of reptiles including crocodiles, alligators, tortoises, iguanas, monitor lizards and more than 20 species of snakes. Visitors often cannot resist the souvenirs at the retail shop which offers unique items made from butterflies and exotic insects.
