1. Melaka Fashion City

Melaka Fashion City is in the MITC area and has orderly rows of shops within covered walkways and boulevards offering fabric for traditional wear, curtains and soft furnishings, clothes, batik, teak furniture, books, traditional food and snacks and home decoration stores. Restaurants offering local cuisine are also found here.

2. Melaka Batik House (MBH)

Melaka Batik House offers a wide selection of batik from all over Malaysia. Classes are also held for visitors who are interested in learning how to design their own batik. Just register for a class and be taught by professional artists. The entire batik making process is also demonstrated here; both wax block printing and tjanting method. Melaka Batik House retails men and women’s traditional wear under the brand Noor Arfa which was established in 1980. Customers will be spoilt for choice at the retail section.
